Some good sounding tidbits in those tweets

Speaks well of the organization. You never heard stuff like that during the Beeston years. Just sayin'

#Bluejays spring training opener vs. the #Yankees on Sunday afternoon will air on Sportsnet. New York broadcaster YES will be producing the game from Tampa's Steinbrenner Field.

Righty Tyler Chatwood says current #BlueJays plan is for him to work as a late-inning leverage reliever. Is looking forward to the adjustment and expects his "stuff is going to play up."

Chatwood pitched partly in such a role in 2019 with #Cubs. He says Brandon Morrow really helped him with the transition from starter to reliever. Craig Kimbrel, too.

Gotta say, I feel like this is one of the more likeable Jays teams in a long time. The 2015-2016 Jays were fun in other ways, but this team top to bottom just seems really easy to cheer for.

Except Tanner Roark I guess.

The #BlueJays are adding right-hander Hobie Harris, selected from the #Yankees in triple-A phase of 2019 Rule 5 draft, to big-league camp, per source. Interesting power arm.

Fangraphs:

Harris is a late-bloomer who only first touched 90 mph while in junior college, and at best sat 90-94 while he was later at Pitt. His velo didn’t really pop until later in pro ball, and Harris sat 92-96 in 2019. The Yankees have been pretty good at developing pitchers for a while, so they lose several of them every year during the Rule 5 draft. Harris was a 2019 minor league phase pick by Toronto. His delivery has changed a bit and he showed up at instructs with a different one, one that better utilizes his lower half. He’s now parked at 96-98 and has been up to 101 out of the bullpen. Harris will still need to find a secondary pitch and his splitter, which he first learned as he entered pro ball, might also blossom late as he’s only recently begun to use it against both-handed hitters rather than try to get righties to swing over his curve. He’s got a shot to earn a bullpen spot at some point in 2021 if he can throw enough strikes in the minors. (Fall Instructional League)

Roark's a competitive guy who wants the ball. He's old school. He was also perfectly happy going to Buffalo and one of the guys that indicated so long before they actually settled on playing there while other players were complaining.

I think Roark is a good dude. I don't like his pitching, but I don't have any problem with his personality. I hope he can pitch better this year.

I have no issue with Roark as a person. But that's not gonna get the W's required to get to the post season

The 20 second mark where Vlad fields a grounder and falls over...

That doesn't look like a third baseman to me.

Not sure if it's the beard but Tellez looks ROUND.

Really excited for this, personally. This complex is probably going to have more direct impact on the sustained success of the Jays going forward than any single free agent we sign.

Agree with this, its the last piece of a significant investment in player development.

The training faciality and TD Ballpark are at two different locations right?

While looking for that answer, I found this site that has a couple of awesome, longer videos showing all the improvements.

https://www.milb.com/dunedin/ballpark/renovations

TD Ballpark capacity increased from 5,500 to 8,500 - new air conditioned bar down the right field line, new 360 degree boardwalk around the outfield. This is awesome. I wasn't fully aware of all these improvements. I've been to Dundin a few times, and to many other stadiums in Florida and Dunedin's was always one of, it not clearly the shittiest. This is now reason to make the drive up (2 hrs) to show my kids.
