You’re usually not one for when stuff goes OT…

But since it’s off rails a bit… I just want to slip one thing in. I had cupcake pancakes from IHOP today. Usually I don’t eat sweet stuff but I did as I’m on vacation.. omg, after taking a minute to process the tastes merging…it was a small piece of heaven. I think Toronto is about to get a bunch of locations. That’s all

Semien's error with 2 out against Detroit

 

The second game of the home double header against Boston...

 

In that game Verdugo hit a 410 foot fly ball that went slightly right of center scraped over the fence by a foot. Vlad hit a 410 foot fly ball that was caught at the wall.

 

Why did one go and the other stay? Because the baseball gods hate us?

 

Maybe it is an ump conspiracy. There is slight variation between balls, and the umps sort them and use the juicier ones in Verdugo at bats, but the deader ones for Vlad.

 

Verdugo also hit a key homerun a week and a half earlier that turned a 4-3 lead into a loss. Verdugo. A man traded for Mookie Wilson who is getting hits for the Boston Red Sox.

So many winnable games pissed away. The other Detroit game where Palacios dives for a ball and gives up a inside the parker. We get half of these games won and we challenge for the division.
