With the way the season has unfolded up to this point I wouldn't bet against it.

I would say this favors us since Matz and Ray are both good, and our bullpen is kinda weak right now. The fact that we only have to play 7 innings each SHOULD mean we won’t see more than 2-3 relievers tomorrow

I've checked through articles and tweets, can't find if the Jays mentioned the oblique strains level on Merryweather, anyone know if it's a 1 or 2?

We're looking at slim pickings in the minors. Bergen, Tice, and Luciano are the only roster pitchers left that aren't injured.

Going into the season I was amazed that we had so much solid pitching depth. And now Milone is starting. How did we get here? So depressing.

Why does Milone need to start though...

 

Seems like every starter is getting extra days and not the usual 4 days of rest. I don't mind it over 162 coming off a 60 game season, especially with Ryu who they must protect at all costs. Hopefully it means more starts for Kay and less for Millone, but no choice tonight.

The Sox will fall back to earth...it's early, this division is there for the taking, especially if we upgrade at the deadline.

Unfortunately I think the Yanks will figure it out. I think we're finishing #2

They might, or they could also have an All-Star lineup again on their IL.

 

More than half their guys are injury prone, the Jays absolutely have a chance at the divison if the guys come back strong.

I was asking about the grade strain yesterday, obviously a grade 2, that'll be a couple months... I guess we'll see if they move him to the 60 day IL.

Merryweather must be the unluckiest person or he just has a horrible training regiment. Sucks to see a player with such amazing stuff that can never build on his skills because of injuries. I legit think he has the best stuff on our team and that includes Ryu.

This is a really stupid post. You should be ashamed for this. Healthy people with no previous ailments are getting flattened from this. My BIL's FIL was a perfectly healthy 50 yr old and is in the ICU not able to breath on his own and most likely terminal. He's never had lung problems, and as fit as you can get for his age.

 

Saying it's just a fly is extremely disrespectful..
