I'm right there with you. Ridiculous that he's sent down just because of options while we have to sit through Montoyo's man crush of Panik and hope he outplays the 75 wRC+ he's been averaging for the past few years. It's bad enough they are carrying Roark at the expense of better options, but if Buntoyo is going to overplay his backups, then at least have the decency to bring up the best ones.

 

Options in baseball, while I get it, suck for players, especially fringey/bench players.

So looks like we got 4 days off in a 2 week span. Very rare for that to happen but it's pretty good timing. Allow our injured guys to recover while missing the least amount of games possible. Also means we can go to a 4 man rotation while Pearson works his way back.
