Not bad. I'd like to see another lefty in there if possible.

Tim Mayza might be the first one up from Buffalo this year

40-man is now full.

Next order of business will be punting Yamaguchi to make room for Trevor Bauer.

Jerb - you are my favorite person on this board. You provide awesome content and never run your mouth.

I second this. He is the Woj/Shams of this board. I feel like almost all of his posts deserve its own thread.

I always pisses me off, when we are waiting anxiously to hear where this player is gonna sign and news breaks "Kim to sign with Padres" or DJL to resign with Yanks but when its us, Yates Leaning toward Jays or nearing deal. f***, just sign already

I still can't believe the money the White Sox threw at Hendriks.

I know

Just wow

I bet Hand gets signed for half that and if we get Yates anywjere near 5M per season just yes

Hendriks has been the best reliever in baseball since 2019 with an uptick in fasbtall velocity and stuff. He was as valuable in 2019 as Luis Castillo and that's not even accounting for the leverage index which doesn't currently get captured by WAR and arguably makes elite relievers much more valuable. He's getting less than Aroldis Chapman currently and Kenley Jansen's last deal.

2/10 for Yates would be oozing value. After his tour of the Dunedin facility today, management could/should throw out a $1M signing bonus into the wind.

Yeah, it's not so much the annual but the term for me. A bit risky with the volatility in RP, especially when we're talking that kind of money. I don't think it makes much business sense.

Big time man. Hendriks also visited our facility and we all know where that went. Stop treating us like the ugly fat girl maaannnn lol.

If he’s signing for $5m it’ll be one year I’d imagine.

He wants his own facility (with blackjack, and hookers...)

Doesn't that end with... "you know what, forget the Blue Jays"?

Hearing Yates to the Jays for 2 years, $10m (from the Twitters)

This would be an excellent signing. Our bullpen shopping will be done and at a very nice price.

Common theme among the Jays signings to date, they are buy lows.

Maybe the plan is to buy one buy high (Springer) and spread the rest of the money among a bunch of rebound candidates.

If that holds true, then Paxton is next.

Overpay for one need - CF

Offset it by finding deals in other areas - bullpen, 3B
