Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2021 Posted June 18, 2021 I should’ve said most Settle down ya troglodyte lol...
glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2021 Posted June 18, 2021 Ohtani is in the HR derby. If Vlad and Tatis participate as well, then that’s a perfect storm for MLB marketing. Home run derby with the biggest young stars in Denver where the ball will fly out (unless the Manfred baseballs get in the way). Promote the hell out of that.

King Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2021 Posted June 18, 2021 Can't stop thinking about this today. College pitcher died from complications during Tommy John surgery. Poor kid had his whole life ahead of him.

BTS Community Moderator Posted June 18, 2021 Posted June 18, 2021 Looking more and more like the Mets will start DeGrom Monday or Tuesday. I can’t imagine the backlash if he gets seriously injured.

King Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2021 Posted June 20, 2021 Surprised there has been no mention here of how bad the Diamondbacks have been. They are long past relegation status.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2021 Posted June 20, 2021 Walker Buehler 2 innings away from a no hitter but already at 99 pitches EDIT: nevermind
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2021 Posted June 20, 2021 Rays have lost 5 in a row, 3 against Seattle. Kind of s***** time for the Jays to be struggling.
Bluebombers Verified Member Posted June 20, 2021 Posted June 20, 2021 It is ,hopefully we can throw some wins together, slowly getting pieces back and sustain momentum.

BCZ Verified Member Posted June 20, 2021 Posted June 20, 2021 Dear Votto, if you're going to argue a strike call and get kicked out of the game for it... at least be in the right.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2021 Posted June 20, 2021 Dear Votto, if you're going to argue a strike call and get kicked out of the game for it... at least be in the right. He didn't get kicked out of the game for arguing the strike call. He got kicked out of the game because the umpire said something to provoke him and he flipped out. He was walking off the field when they initially called the strike.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2021 Posted June 20, 2021 Wow, the A's put two men on with no outs against the Yankees in the top of the 9th of a 2-1 game and the Yanks got out of it with their third triple play of the year. https://streamable.com/pyscfk Before 2021, the Yankees had never turned two triple plays in a season. The Jays let them break that record recently.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2021 Posted June 20, 2021 What the f*** are these Red Sox pitchers' names? Yacksel Rios replaces Darwinzon Hernandez? Either way, they suck. Gave up a big rally to the Royals who scored 3 in the bottom of the 6th. Also looks like the Sox had two guys leave the game due to injury? https://i.imgur.com/7f3QgjA.png
Bluebombers Verified Member Posted June 20, 2021 Posted June 20, 2021 Always a thrill jays win and hopefully red Sox lose, catch up game at a time
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted June 20, 2021 Posted June 20, 2021 Kyle Schwarber had quite a weekend 2 HR Saturday 3 HR Sunday
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2021 Posted June 20, 2021 If Ohthani keeps smashing HRs, there is no way Vlad wins MVP.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2021 Posted June 20, 2021 Shed Long game winning GS for the Mariners as they sweep the Rays. About time the Rays start losing.
RustyTrombone Verified Member Posted June 20, 2021 Posted June 20, 2021 lmao Rays just got walked off again. Got swept by the Mariners, hopefully they keep loosing
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2021 Posted June 21, 2021 lol, the Mariners pushed the Rays over the edge. Franco coming up.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2021 Posted June 21, 2021 The super two cut off must be over. No other reason why the Rays would call Franco up.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2021 Posted June 21, 2021 The rich get richer I understand what you mean but it's still hilariously ironic that this is being said about the Rays.
