Ohtani is in the HR derby. If Vlad and Tatis participate as well, then that’s a perfect storm for MLB marketing. Home run derby with the biggest young stars in Denver where the ball will fly out (unless the Manfred baseballs get in the way). Promote the hell out of that.

Can't stop thinking about this today. College pitcher died from complications during Tommy John surgery. Poor kid had his whole life ahead of him.

Looking more and more like the Mets will start DeGrom Monday or Tuesday. I can’t imagine the backlash if he gets seriously injured.

Surprised there has been no mention here of how bad the Diamondbacks have been. They are long past relegation status.

He didn't get kicked out of the game for arguing the strike call. He got kicked out of the game because the umpire said something to provoke him and he flipped out.

 

He was walking off the field when they initially called the strike.

Wow, the A's put two men on with no outs against the Yankees in the top of the 9th of a 2-1 game and the Yanks got out of it with their third triple play of the year.

Before 2021, the Yankees had never turned two triple plays in a season. The Jays let them break that record recently.
