Odor might be the hero in this game, we'll see how Chapman does.

I watched him get that go ahead flare. PVRed game. Barf. Jays rained out. Yanks win. Odor comes through = Bad day. I hear Roark not starting tomorrow though so light at end of the tunnel.

I was just coming to post, that it sure looks like he's made the adjustment. I don't think people thought he was washed up though. One bad year in a shortened season, doesn't justify washed up, also having video back helps, he said that hurt him.

 

I saw his name floated out in the fastest leagues quite a bit if I remember correctly. My teams are rebuilds so I didn’t inquire

He wasn't expecting the throw to come to 2nd like most of us. Sucks for him though.

 

Yeah that’s how that stuff happens. He was committed to going in standing up and then made awkward attempt at slide; or happens vice versa. Throw definitely shouldn’t have gone to 2b but that stuff happens I guess

Terrible call, by the review team. Can't blame the umpire, but man that call is egregious, I'd be gutted if the Jays lost like that.

 

Behind the plate angle clearly shows he missed the plate.

 

This needs to get better. The umpires union needs to train a small crew of YOUNGER guys that actually know how to work a computer and aren’t suffering macular degeneration to be the permanent replay guys. None of this rotating umps through the replay room ********.
