Wow. No off days is really going to be tough in a 7 game series

What is the logic exactly with having no days off at this stage, the World Series isn't even ending late this year, quite early actually.

On top of this, all the players are bubbled now.

Expanded rosters.

Wouldn't surprise me if the Rays sweep this series. They not only have the better team, but they are also way better equipped to handle 7 games in a row.

Better team? Not obvious to me, despite 2020 results. Altuve, Bregman, Correa, Springer, Tucker, Brantley is a superior core of hitters IMO. Rays probably have better D and pitching but the Astros have some sneaky good unheralded arms

The Astros have the better offensive talent, but overall, I'd give the edge to the Rays (and I hate doing that). If Verlander and Osuna were healthy, then it would have been more advantageous for the Astros.

There has not been a sacrifice bunt the entire post season

Pretty sure I saw someone try... manager called for a bunt and the player missed 2 in a row, then hit a homer. Im forgetting who it was rn

Michael Perez, Rays' catcher.

This game felt a lot like game 1 with the Jays. Houston had lots of opportunities but couldn’t get it done. That 8th inning double play was huge.

But yeah the whole “long ball doesn’t work in the postseason” has been put to rest this year

A lot of games against these starters and bullpens its so hard to put together a rally that solo homers can win games

Let's go Astros:

1. I'm guessing this would be the first time a team under .500 during the regular season makes the World Series. That would make this season even more hilarious.

2. It would be great to see all the "anti-cheater" types go nuts over their success.

3. The Rays are a terrible franchise and don't deserve any kind of success or reward for their s***** brand of baseball and need to be stopped here.

This sentence should be pasted in every discussion involving the Rays going forward. Never lose sight of this. So true.

Astro's are getting swept. The "anti-cheaters" aka 99% of baseball fans outside of Houston have nothing to worry about.
