Good question on C. Apples to apples, When you think about HOF, a lot of people would pick Y Molina as a lock for HOF. He has less career WAR than Russell Martin.

There is actually a growing consensus in the saber community that modern measurements of catcher value are still missing out on an awful lot. Lots of great catchers are probably immensely undervalued by any current version of WAR.
