Possibly, but I think Cavan can move around. He's not an every day third baseman.

 

maybe Bichette to 3rd and Biggio at 2B ? Or wasn't the big question on Bichette the arm strength - if so maybe 3B not right for him.

What are you laughing at? Jansen, Bo at SS,Biggio and Grichuk won't win you s*** defensively.

 

Totally we need a better CFer. Davis would be nice but he is too much of a defensive liability.

Exactly. Power pitching is always preferable. There are very few exceptions like Maddux.

So maybe people should stop all this talk about moving Austin Martin to CF and instead talking about moving Bo to 2B and leaving Biggio at 3B ?

 

Biggio has 0 chance lasting at 3B as things stand currently. He would struggle to throw people out in beer league with the way he throws from there. Maybe try Bo at 3B, Martin at SS and Biggio at 2b.

loll. So the correct decision is to pull pitchers at all times regardless of in game performance. You're doing well, you're out. You suck, you're out.

So it's not possible for us to win 1 0 or even have the game closer? Agreed that our offense was crap but that shouldn't excuse stupid decision making.

 

They still scored 1 run man, I didn't agree on some of those decisions yesterday, but they held TB to 3 and we scored 1, it was on the offense. It was close, unlike today.

Honestly hopefully cheap ass Jays make a splash like Bauer. Lots of fair weather fans like me ready to fully hop on the bandwagon when it’s a playoff team

I agree that our offense failed us yesterday but i can at least hope that gets better with time and more talent.

 

The scary takeaway for me is how our GM/Manager manage games going forward. I already hate Montoyo but knowing that we will stick to scripts and not adjust to how the game is going is crazy.

 

They might think things like Biggio 8th, Jansen 3rd or putting your best hitters 5th and 6th in the playoffs are being "creative," I just dont see it that way.

If anyone moves for Groshans or Martin in the future Bo moves to 3rd, he has a strong arm, Biggio can play 2nd and spell OF in a pinch. Hypothetically speaking, we have to see how they transition to the Show. Basically, yes I agree with you.

Question for all you baseball/Jays fans who are more knowledgeable than me:

 

For a guy like Shoemaker who was dealing yesterday, and probably wanted to stay in the game longer but was pulled...how does this affect his view towards the team/management regarding resigning in the off-season. IÂ’m inclined to think it would sour him on the org but I donÂ’t know.

 

Personally I would have started Ryu for game 1. Though there were rumblings he asked for the extra day rest. Bad shoulder? ThatÂ’s what they were saying on 590 radio.

 

Also I donÂ’t think Montoyo makes many big decisions. I think the Shoe to Ray decision yesterday was made by Shatkins and analytics.
