JFD Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 For the love of god can we somehow void this trade and get Conine back. Villar is f***ing awful. 0 baseball IQ. Makes sense that Showalter loves him
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 buntoyo logic There’s no way Montoyo told Villar to bunt with nobody on base
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 buntoyo logic As much as I hate Montoyo and I loathe him entirely. I can almost guarantee both those players bunted on their own.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Would be nice if Vlad started hitting
TheDragon Verified Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Getting to the playoffs despite Montardo. It's a real challenge.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 What an awful strike call.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 If I’m Biggio I’m trying to be super aggressive here trying to steal second knowing Vlady is likely to hit a groundball.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Vlad: 103 MPH and 105 MPH ground outs
Laika Community Moderator Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Vlad: 103 MPH and 105 MPH ground outs Another day at the office.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Some really bad luck for Ryu.
goldbug103 Verified Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Vlad: 103 MPH and 105 MPH ground outs[/quote Does Guerrero qualify as the biggest bust of all time ? Or are there bigger ones ? I mean hitting loud ground balls 70 percent of the time is not what you need from your first baseman of the future.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Nimmo why are u running to first with a pitch that close, doofus.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Villar was showing bunt again smh. There, see? Bunting is stupid, just hit.

He is a solid 21 year old on pace for 20+ homers in a full season. Looks like a star in the making to me Also, his GB% is 54%
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Need some bats to get healthy.

We will have to wait a decade but if we just look at former #1 prospects it's still very unlikely he will be worse than any of Brien Taylor, Todd Van Poppel, Rick Ankiel, Delmon Young, or maybe Jurickson Profar (who was looking like an all time bust due to injuries * hype, but has been a somewhat useful player recently).

Mark Appel is up there too. Drafted 8th by Pits and then 1st overall by Huston, and never even played a game in the majors and is out of the game.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Ryu is carving up a good Mets lineup.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Ryu starting to roll now. BABIP to death he decided to just strike people out lol. 7 in 5 innings. Things you love to see. That.

Man, I was hoping to retire on my Todd Van Poppel rookie card.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Feels like the jays f***ed up their best chance to score multiple runs in the 2nd inning due to popping up 2 bunts for no reason
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Wow, Buck makes a comment with which I agree. Hatch and Merryweather SHOULD be stretched out a bit...
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 They should really not let Roark start at Yankee Stadium. Let Merryweather and Hatch piggyback that game instead. Game is way to important.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 Ryu is the man. Need the bats to add a few
