I kinda like watching good pitchers pitch over bad ones. We go up 6 runs and people want to see Font who isn’t even healthy lol.

Argument has been completely dismantled, good work

It has over and over. People crying the same thing over and over doesnt make it any more fact or worth debating at length over and over. They are working on the launch angle and his ground ball% isn't much different than Tatis for example (47% last year and 46% this year). He gets pitched tougher than just about anyone. A solid 40 games in a season encompassing a worldwide pandemic is respectable, especially cause we don't know what happened when everyone was in quarantine, what they could work on etc. He has some things that need tweaking, but what 21 year old doesn't.

What was Carlos hoping to get out of that challenge? I don't understand. To get Frazier out when he already was?

Am I wrong or did Buck go out of his way to not acknowledge Barry Bonds' existence?

There were so many excellent 90s hitters, even ignoring the existence of Barry Bonds, that claiming that Roberto Alomar may have been the best player in the league at any point is such an awful take.

Oh, that was a bit of a dick move from the baserunner there...

Yeah definitely looked intentional. But I agree they can't really call the runner out at 1st. I think if they had missed the out at 2nd he would have been called out though

Probably getting the out at first, I guess... Suggesting that the baserunner slowed down the play overall by getting in the way. He really did.

Also, that was a great catch from Villar.

I think Buck's constant overrating of Dave Stieb is more annoying. I mean, I don't really see the argument for Stieb over even Halladay.

Are the Mets allergic to shifting? Shaw just hit a ball which 90% of the teams make an easy out on by using a typical lefty pull hitter shift.

Did we really trade away a good prospect so Stripling could pitch out of the bullpen lol.

ERA I guess.

Seems like their defensive positioning isn't great. We've had a bunch of easy singles this series. Maybe just luck

There are rumours that Steib might get a second chance opurtunity at the Hall Of Fame. If you’re tired of hearing about him now just wait for that special committee decision. If he goes in the Jays will probably retire his number as well.

Soto: 54% GB% his rookie year and 53% this year. Guess he is a bust

Yeah I mean, there is the small issue that Soto is 100% better at hitting and not replacement level, and that Soto can actually run so ground balls arent as detrimental

But yeah, aside from that, same player
