I'm shocked by the haul for Austin Nola. It's more than double what I would have expected the Mariners to get.

 

I wouldn't hate grabbing Austin Hedges now that they have like 4 catchers. Then we could offer McGuire for Mike Minor and not lose a whole lot.

Gonna throw this out here, how about Robby Cano? Having a fantastic season. Hes expensive so if we ate some of the salary we wouldnt have to give up too much. The mets are 15-19 and not too far back but they should be motivated to move him and his contract. Cano to 2b, Biggio to 3b. or otherway around.

Cabrera from Washington seems like such an easy answer, but I haven't heard any rumours about him other than Mike Ferrin and Jim Duquette saying the Nationals should trade him on the radio a few days ago.

 

It's such a crazy season, Washington may not be willing to sell. The second place Marlins and Phillies are 14 and 15, so even the nationals at 12 and 19 aren't completely out of the playoff picture. You'd think with the loss of Strasburg, they'd throw the towel in and get rid of a piece like Cabrera.

Groshans, McGuire, and Kloffenstein.

You’re ignoring the giant body of work over a 29 game sample with a new club. He’s most likely not a good as 2019, but not as bad as 2020.
