I vaguely remember before Galvis was put on waivers last season, Montoyo was basically setting the entire lineup around getting Galvis in there.

 

Panik is going to play a lot. A lot. Minor league manager + big league vetrin = bad combo.

 

Montoyo gave him a few starts at DH from what I remember to get his “big bat” in the lineup.

Rendon was a huge loss. With Soto out with Covid and we're in a 4 game set and are only going to see Scherzer and miss Strasburg and Corbin things couldn't have worked out better.
