Gotta love the creative ways in which Buntoyo was able to keep Fisher out of the lineup tonight.

 

He just had to have all 3 of Drury, Espinal and Panik in the lineup tonight. Throw in Tellez and that's probably the worst infield I've ever seen. It's almost too bad that Biggio has positional flexibility.

Offensively, sure, but you just wait until Tanner Roark with his 36% groundball rate from 2019 starts letting balls get put in play!

In defense of this, Biggio in the OF is a very realistic long term scenario so I kind of like that they are forcing it a bit this year.

 

It's possible they are unconcerned with getting any more long looks at Alford. May have already decided that he isn't surviving the roster trim downs.

Its absolutely blowing my mind that Joe Panik is already taking at-bats from young players. Like we need to see Fisher as much as possible this year to see if he’s anything. Panik has already received way to many at-bats and this is game 5. He might have to be traded just so Montoyo won’t use him.
