Reds are the ultimate dark horse and I would love to see Joey Votto and Trevor Bauer win... but I am hesitant to go all-in mentally because I think their pitching is overrated based on results and their opponents this year. Central pitchers were very lucky - lots of s***** offenses.

I mean yeah it helps being on the juggernaut Yankees from the beginning of your career. He wasn't exactly postseason Strasburg, just needed to not suck and could rack up those wins.

1. Being really good and durable

 

2. Playing in the wildcard era with more playoff rounds

 

3. Playing on a team that makes the playoffs really often
