I just don’t understand the benefit to all this.

 

We should be encouraging more forum activity and various opinions. I get some people are annoying, and sometimes deliberately, but unless it’s offensive or racist I don't really have a problem with it.

 

Why run a forum with three people talking and everyone agreeing with each other, I mean just use a messenger App for that.

 

No one (at least outside the politics thread) is complaining about dissenting opinions, nor do the majority of people here want an echo chamber. It just sucks reading through a mountain of posts that are written with a reasonably clear intent of being annoying rather than useful.

TBad was/is a frequent poster but he mainly kept it in the gdt or Jays talk threads. I know the frequent, single line (I don't think tbad ever had more than a one line post) posters annoy "the hive" as they are called but as long as they aren't moving threads forward pages or starting new threads guys like tbad don't bother me.
