Our schedule doesn't seem overly difficult in May, I think they could hover around .500 for a little while longer at least

Two observations:

 

1. Drury looks a little like Brett Lawrie when rounded the bases.

2. Laureano runs funny. On his heels or something? Great arm, but he looks awkward in CF for me (perhaps because he's short and stocky?)

 

I think it's the fact that he takes extraordinarily long strides when he's running so that's why it looks odd, almost like a track runner. He's excellent in CF though so don't sleep on him just because he might be a bit unorthodox out there.

April 28th and the team is 14-14 with a +11 run differential. Things are looking up.

 

I really wish we would have kept Pillar instead of having to see Brito log so much time. Our OF situation is a mess right now and I don't really see a way to fix it short term. What's Denard Span doing?

Still doesn't have a job, which is pretty inexcusable. He'd be a great addition.

Getting a CF upgrade, moving Grichuk back to right, and sending McKinney down to the minors would really help the team. No idea who that could be though. Certainly not Ben Revere.

 

I wonder if Gurriel could handle CF. Seriously, there's practically nothing in the minors for outfielders now that Alford looks like s***. Moving Gurriel to the OF might be the best move.

I think that McKinney deserves more time with the big club. He's played solid defense and cut his K rate. The power just seems to have disappeared, but there's a good chance he gets hot soon. He's had some really good at-bats lately.
