No one is cheering against Sanchez. We're pointing out that he wasn't sharp in that inning and was very lucky to get out of it with only one run given up, the botched DP not withstanding.

Where do you come up with this stuff? I get that you hate him and always will, but he looks great. Lots of sink on the fastball and a nice tight curve that he is locating. He even used the changeup effectively a couple of times. He and Jansen are doing a nice job.

 

We must be watching 2 different games. Yes he's cracked off a few good pitches at times, and had 1 really solid inning. The remainder he's been hit really hard, walking way too many guys and getting lucky the hard contact is right at the fielder's, or great defensive plays.

 

Results are good, but overall his start has not been good.

 

Also, I don't hate Sanchez. Please feel free to invent whatever narratives you want though.

I'm no expert, but Khris Davis might have a problem with breaking balls on the outside half.
