In a day game where there are literally no clouds, it's sometimes difficult to judge the depth of a high fly ball with no clouds or anything that can provide a perspective view. The ball also appears to be a little darker against a pale blue sky.

 

That is where the term "high sky" came from.

Or extend him for cheap honestly. Could still be a stable ~2 win player for a couple more years barring a heavy decline.
