Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 That’s it Orgfiller, keep the streak alive! Orgfiller has the GDT helm until we lose. Then he walks the plank and someone else has to bring the good ju ju.

glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 That lineup with Vlad at 3B and Biggio at 2B actually looks above average, or am I crazy?
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 That lineup with Vlad at 3B and Biggio at 2B actually looks above average, or am I crazy? With half the Yankees roster living on stretchers and Red Sox imploding, we might actually be a .500 ball club if you add those two. Granted our pitching holds up. Unfortunately chances of people getting dealt in July is quite high, the “names to be flipped for prospects” list is a long one.

There's also a chance some of those names get extended rather than traded.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Figures we don't play Boston when they are struggling - or the Yanks while 70% of their team is hurt...
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Buck totally just said Grandal Richuk
el duque Verified Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Matt Shoemaker our new ace, 3-0, 1.75 ERA
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Author Posted April 20, 2019 Nice shoe string catch Billy.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Shoemaker to Mets for ? He's arb eligible for us next year, really shouldn't move him for anything unless it's a GREAT return.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Ugg, sac bunt in the 3rd inning...
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Author Posted April 20, 2019 Gotta love the cross up hits. Catcher looks like a total idiot.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Charlie Buntoyo. Ned Montoyost. Let’s come up with a nickname for our sabermetric guru.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Should have tagged from first one that one.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Maile isn't an auto-out, that sac bunt was so f***ing stupid.
el duque Verified Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Not gonna do better than Montoyost. Mon toyota
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Maile isn't an auto-out, that sac bunt was so f***ing stupid. It's a wet dream for casuals though.
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Hell yea boys we played for 1 run and got it. Wooo Let's go Blue Jays!!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Author Posted April 20, 2019 Maile isn't an auto-out, that sac bunt was so f***ing stupid. Uh... he's a career 59 wRC+ who projects as a 64 wRC+ hitter. He's as close to an auto-out as a Major League hitter gets.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 It's a wet dream for casuals though. And they'll all say it "worked" 'cause we got one run. But Maile has the ability to shoot a double into the gap and score 2 with no outs... So, I mean, yay that we're winning, but boo that we wasted an out.
Pinkfloid Verified Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Why bunt if you're not going to be aggressive on the basepaths afterward? That Galvis fly ball seemed deep enough.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Should have got at least 2 that inning.. I think Galvis thinks he is a HR hitter now.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Uh... he's a career 59 wRC+ who projects as a 64 wRC+ hitter. He's as close to an auto-out as a Major League hitter gets. It's the 3rd inning in the AL, a sac bunt is stupid 100% of the time in the 3rd inning of a game in the AL.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Not gonna do better than Montoyost. Montoyost it is. Sac bunts, s***** hitters leading off, “playing the game the right way”. Old school time.
