Omar Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 They made it interesting...........but we got the WIN
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 When did Teoscar Hernandez's arm become a laser-guided missile launcher? What? He's always had a good arm, but seems to be way more accurate now.
Pinkfloid Verified Member Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 I hate that you can review because "why not?" in situations where it's obvious the call won't be overturned. I get it though. Remember Bannister a few years ago? Lol
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 The Mirage has physical tools no one can deny.
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 The great news is we won! The good news is they executed some good fundamentals to win. The bad news is Giles sucks the past two games, and basically blew a save, and a 2 run lead, no matter what the outcome and stats say.
wk680 Verified Member Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 Teoscar is so frustrating. You can see the potential with the baT, but my god is he ever a trainwreck at everything else. Well looks like a 3 tool player at the moment (hitting, power, throwing). If he can overcome the baserunning gaffes, he should be at least neutral there (decent speed). There's still hope
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 More good news next two games one or both could be rained out so Jay's could win their first series
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 Yes, unlike Brito and Hansen, you can dream on Teoscar's potential. If everything clicks for him he could turn into a decent big leaguer, but it would have to be everything clicking (2018 stat cast numbers + 2019 SSS plate discipline + average ish defence rolled into one). Or just make him the DH and let him focus on hitting and base running. I'd be fine with that too.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 What? He's always had a good arm, but seems to be way more accurate now. Maybe that's what he meant by laser-guided? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 They should push the game back a couple hours tomorrow? https://rotogrinders.com/weather/mlb Meh... actually looks playable. https://www.theweathernetwork.com/us/36-hour-weather-forecast/minnesota/minneapolis
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 Getting caught up on last night's game and was able to watch the slomo replay of the relay throw. Teoscar did a great job to get the ball off the ground and get it out of his hand quickly. That was a cannon throw with no windup or crow hop or anything. Galvis unleashed a strike too. Doesn't look like his ball ever dropped, just a straight line.
