jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Okay now I really want the Jays to come back to win as a big f*** you to the O's manager.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 When Chris Sale comes into town it will be an easy 27 up 27 strikeouts. Ricky Romero would have a decent chance at that given this lineup
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 You gotta feel terrible for Hess here. He completely dominated and to be pulled at only 82 pitches is tough. Props to him, we were bad but he was painting with his fastball pretty much all game long.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 YES HERE WE GO BOYS WE'RE GOING TO DO IT AKSMALS;S,AL;S,L;S,MA,LDSAL,D cf
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Lol @ the Orioles. Should have at least tried to put in a slightly better reliever.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Hahaha... poor Hess, that was roped.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 David Hess is shooting daggers from the dugout.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 This manager is going to get crucified by baseball media for this.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 If I'm David Hess I'm cheering for the Jays right now
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 2, 2019 Author Posted April 2, 2019 At this point I'd just option Hernandez for Alford. He's not a good player.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Orioles trying to out tank Shatkins. Your plan is not going to work, boys.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Attaboy Gaviglio. We needed those innings from he and Pannone.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Is Elvis making an appearance in the 9th or Gaviglio for one more?
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 OK - it's getting hard not to agree with tercet re: LGJ He has no clue.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 OK - it's getting hard not to agree with tercet re: LGJ He has no clue. It's the first f***ing week man, give him at least a month before we can say he's clueless. No one on the team is hitting right now.
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 2, 2019 Author Posted April 2, 2019 Galvis attaboy! I get why Phillies fans loved Galvis so much. Missed catch today aside, he's a nice little player.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 At this point I'd just option Hernandez for Alford. He's not a good player. He's had 20 plate appearances. It's far too early and he's only struck out 4 times and he's walked twice.

No one on the team is hitting right now. I don't really care about the slow start with the bat, because he's going to hit a bit eventually, but his defense has been terrible. Two bad throws on the pivot in the Detroit series, and then the poor feed to Galvis today.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Those errors in the first loom big here.

That wasn't really a bad feed to Galvis though, it's a routine flip that you make just to the right of the bag so the shortstop has the momentum to make the return throw.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 I love Drury's opposite field swing. He really goes with where the ball is thrown.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Smoak is really that f***ing slow? jesus christ
KevinGregg Verified Member Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 Smoak is really that f***ing slow? jesus christ No hes not that slow. He was wasting so much time watching the play unfold. Just put your head down and run ffs
