Yup, and depending on whether we see Ureña or Sogard as the backup infielder then we could see Gurriel with some SS reps, Drury seeing some time at 2B, and Gurriel also getting the occasional appearance in the outfield.

Can’t believe how so much talent can be so wasted by freak injuries, I really hope he saved most of the money he made because I don’t see any life changing amounts coming his way.

Travis’ return will be delayed after a setback, he’ll play a few games in the minors, struggle for a month or so in the majors, end the season injured, and then admit defeat and retire.

 

You don’t come back from chronic knee injuries with continual tears. Playing on will put his health in jeopardy, it wouldn’t be good to need knee replacement surgery in his early 30’s.
