Rawlings and scientists having a press conference this afternoon to discuss their findings from their analysis with respect to the ball and home runs in 2019

You know where? I assume I'll get it on MLB Network.

It's at the GM meetings in San Diego. I'm sure they'll cover it on MLB TV/radio.

I don't see what's wrong with that? He's coming off TJS.

Probably the fact that he's a a bad hitter and you're putting him in an offense-only position lol. Brownie is right.

Pretty sure this dude is a high-functioning autist, no?

High-functioning?

I am the biggest Rogers / Blue Jays apologist on the board and even I am starting to question what exactly Ross Atkins does aside from piss off the casual fans with meaningless quotes and tell everybody his favourite penguin facts all day long.

The "older prospect" point is not the smartest.

Walker was a college pick in 2018. He'll be a 23 year old in AA in 2020. He's on track with many other college picks and only like, ~200 AA plate appearances behind a number of even elite 2018 college picks. Joey Bart spent most of 2019 in A+ just like Walker!

Fair enough, but if Mazara didn't jump to the MLB as a 20 year old - instead he tore up A/AA/AAA, he'd probably would have been considered one of the top prospects in baseball and then if he made the jump to the MLB and produced like he did last year, wouldn't we all look at him differently and suggest Texas got hosed?

It's the failure to improve at the MLB level (and loss of control) that generates this distaste in our mouth for Mazara and I think it's a little unfair. I see this as a reasonable risk for the White Sox. I'm going to give up now b/c you're way smarter than I am and we'll see what happens.

If you don't want to sit - then don't suck.

He's shown to be a better hitter than O'Hearn/Guttierez, not to mention it'll only be sporadically, lol. You guys are being silly.

Surprised Wacha got 9M guaranteed.

They just said on MLB Now that it's 1 year 3 million... incentives can climb to 7 million. That's quite different, lol.
