How much is Anthony Rendon getting this offseason?

6 years, $180M? This guy is a stud.

I know we need pitching and I know we all believe the team won't want to move Vlad to 1st right away, but...

Philly fans, in all of their obnoxious glory, have taken to booing everything that their players do. The team is 1.5 GB from the 2nd WC. Great fanbase that.

Yordan Alvarez now has 21 HRs and 62 RBI in 60 games (257 PA's). wRC+ of 190.

wRC+ by month is 193, 178 and 198 (June, July, August) Nobody has had any success making adjustments on him. He's a beast who just turned 22.

I think the issue is that there was A LOT of hype about how good the team was going to be this year and they aren't. They also hate Gabe Kapler.

Phillies are a trash organization from top to bottom. Nothing makes me happier than to see them fail.

I don't know how I wasn't familar with this play. This is legend calibre.

Now I want to know what the call on the field was for that play!

Yu Darvish has 1 BB for his last 51 Ks.

He had a streak of like 150 batters faced without a walk. Good Yi Darvish is fun.

This wasn't an out but holy f***:

That's one of the best defensive efforts you'll ever see.

I've never seen this before. It is glorious. I searched Lenny Randle and he was also the guy who 'blew' a bunt foul on astroturf. Quite a career!

Batters need to start doing this more when pitchers start throwing at them. Or let the bat "accidentally" slip from their hands on their swing.

wow..syndergaard got s*** pumped tonight. 9 earned runs over 3 innings with 3 hrs given up...you don't see that very often.

s***** stretch for the Mets. That's their 5th straight lose and playoff hopes in jeopardy.

The catcher ended up going into the stands after fans in the brawl that ensued. Five days later, same two teams playing it was 10 cent beer night and the fans all attack the umpires and players.

I once had a pitcher hit me not once but twice in 1 game because I kept getting hits off of him.

Once was near my head too!

So I waited till the last inning, took a missed swing on purpose, let the bat (accidently ) slip out of my hand and aimed right for his kneecaps. Fortunately for him I missed.

That might sound harsh but he was clearly aiming for my head.

I dont mind getting hit, just aim for the meaty part of my leg please

So you got like six plate appearances against the same pitcher? Okay.

Except for the fact that players can't bunt anymore.

LOL - f*** off. I bet if Lenny Randle tried that 10 more times he wouldn't hit another that perfect to completely blow up the pitcher.

Maybe not, but it only needs to happen once to send a serious message across the entire league for years.
