It's crazy when you think about it, the Yanks have added, EE and get back both Judge and Stanton this week. Bronx Bombers will run away with the East.

It's been quite the story, you feel bad for all the awesome players who are gonna have to ride the pine now. I suppose it's a good problem for Cashman and the team to have.

I f***ing loved it. Bauer has high fan interaction, donates a ton to charity and everyone who meets him says he's a great guy. Law has decided he hates him because he isn't woke enough, but is too much of a huge pussy to be direct and Bauer decimated him.

Then Bauer decimated that other little dweeb who tried to white knight for Keith.

Haha, it's awesome. MLB can't fault the guy either, they've been encouraging the players for years to up their social media profiles.

Their bench would probably start for most teams. Such a deep and well put together roster. Can't hate on the Yankees when they are built the right way. They develop talent while winning better than teams who are rebuilding/tanking. Now they'll probably turn Frazier into more rotation help (hopefully not from the Jays unless it is Sanchez going the other way, which it won't be).

I'd be thrilled to get Frazier for ANY of our arms.

The fact that Cashman hasn’t given him an everyday role means he’s going to suck the moment he’s traded. Cashman never trades a good prospect away. Look at his history. Sheffield turned to s*** the moment he switched uniforms. If Frazier is the return for Stroman we will be very disappointed.

Right, because Cashman has this nonexistent ability wherein he is ALWAYS right (like 100% of the time) on the future outcome of the players he trades away LOL?

This is such a dumb narrative.

Nope. You guys can believe what you want. I’m not messing with Cashman. Ever. He drafts well, develops well, and never trades prospects that end up biting him in the ass. If Garrett Cooper is the exception (a 28 year old 1B with a .376 BABIP), then not only is that not changing my opinion, but I’ll just bring up Voit who is better and who they got for not much.

When Frazier is traded, he will become a bust. I’m sure of it. I’m sipping the Cashman koolaid.

The Garrett Cooper thing is like an inside joke among the fantasy guys here.

Well, a joke that everyone hates and gets me banned for when i mention him in any positive light.

Haha, ok that makes sense. I was looking at Cooper's numbers and was wondering what I was missing.

When was the last future star Cashman traded? Asking for real just based on the convo. For all the stars they’ve had coming up the last handful of years I can’t think of players they let slip away

In the Cooper deal they also gave away Caleb Smith who has turned out to be quite a capable starter.

They were part of the three team Steven Souza Jr. deal between the Rays and D-Backs. They acquired Brandon Drury and gave up Nick Solak and Taylor Widener so that was just a truly awful deal for the Yankees, even if they did acquire half a season of JA Happ out of it. They also traded away Sonny Gray for little and he's doing very well in the NL Central.

That's not to say any of those players are stars, but the Yankees aren't infallible. They have a ton of resources and they make a lot of good moves but Cashman isn't the f***ing boogeyman.

Cashman never gets enough credit. The players he brought in may not have paid off exactly but in one year he brought in Happ, Lynn, Kahnle, Britton, Gray & Robertson. They gave up:

Blake Rutherford

Ian Clarkin

Tito Polo

James Mateo

Dustin Fowler

James Kaprelian

Brandon Drury

Billy McKinney

Luis Rijo

Tyler Austin

Dillon Tate

Cody Carroll

Josh Rogers

To early to tell on most of those players but there aren't a lot of rising stock in this bunch

Cashman has evolved though. He's no longer a swing for the fences GM. His offensive prospects he holds on to with such a tight grip and he tends to make his deals by using depth prospects or his 18-19 year old lottery tickets. His refusal to deal his offensive prospects seems to for some reason give them trade value after they debut.

Twins just signed Cody Allen. Their bullpen is okay, but this is a pretty desperate move - Allen is terrible.

This is the team to trade Ken Giles to. They might be willing to pay out the ass for him if it means they bolster their bullpen and acquire a clear save collector in the process. I'd be willing to toss them, like, Joe Biagini or Sam Gaviglio in the trade as well if it means the Jays can get someone like Alex Kirilloff in the deal.

The Indians traded consensus top-25 prospect Francisco Mejia for Brad Hand and Adam Cimber last July, so the above trade could shake out similarly.

Graterol is interesting too, although I'd prefer to develop bats and buy arms I think.

Wow. Yordan Alvarez looks like the real deal. Just hit a 2out 3 run bomb in the 7th against Holder to take a 5-4 lead.

He looks like the real deal, dude can hit.

Nationals released Rosenthal, can we please sign him? Might be another Ken Giles type project.

I would love for us to pick him up. Maybe it doesn't work out, but we need the bodies anyway. Give him lots of work over the next month or so, and maybe he turns things around in time for the trade deadline.

Yeah, Rosenthal is still throwing 100, he just has no idea where it's going. It makes a ton of sense to bring him in at league in and see if he finds his control.

This Padre/Bucs game has been nuts! Twice the Buccos game back 3 down, 9th and now the 11th.

Hahaha... walk off walk!

They're saying Rengifo slipped, but he didn't, he dug a cleat. A-Rod will explain it, I'm sure. Bad turn at the base. You're helpless when that happens.
