We should follow suit and call up Biggio.

 

We’re legitimately at a point right now where we can say we’ve been good. Our pitching has been fantastic. Let’s not let that go to waste by playing Alen Hansen. Biggio could end up making a difference right now. You put him the line up and it’s actually pretty deep.

Agreed. He's destroyed AAA through 20 games and has slashed his K's significantly, looking like less of a hacker from a statistical profile anyways. Hansen is just cannon fodder, let's get the kids up here and let them play!

I don't think Sheryl Ring is trustworthy on these matters, she has an agenda here. I find it pretty hard to believe the Cubs are threatening people who won't do what they want.

It's ballsy as f*** because if she were actually a good laywer, she'd a) not be working as a full-time writer at fangraphs, and B) would not get regularly dragged at said site for her questionable legal takes.

Ugh, another game where the starting pitchers are rolling and both get pulled ridiculously early. Maeda at 73 pitches, Shark at something like 79. I hope their pens implode (the Giants already coughed up a few).

Ridiculous. And its not like both teams have lights out bullpens to begin with lol.

 

Starters are babied way too much these days. No excuse to pull Maeda or Shark at those pitch counts when they were dealing.

Cal Quantrill kind of sucks so I don't think it's that exciting tbh. At least the Ks were somewhat up early in the year.

Last year Mallex Smith had a 3.4 WAR season. Today he is optioned to the minors, worth -0.7 WAR. While I don't know if the Rays saw this decline, I have got to give them credit for trading him at the height of his value. +1 Rays.

 

To be fair - the Rays haven't fixed Zunino's bat yet....although his K% has dropped quite a bit so far.
