The Rays are insanely good. Their offense is legitimate and so deep. Pitching is good all over and especially in light of how they handle their pitching staff.

Best team in the division, hands down.

And quality farm depth to back it up.

It's also what you are taught your whole life. He grew up in Texas and played at a Football first high school he was probably always taught that baseball is a game of respect and American values ******** (like American's have values). Every single North American player was taught the game by a generation who believe that baseball is above sport. No lie, I was taught that a baseball field is shaped the way it is because a diamond is god's favourite shape. Smart people can generally see the harmlessness of fun in the game...but we won't be clear of ignorance for at least another generation.

There was nothing wrong with Anderson's "bat flip" (or toss). The game is already losing the young demo. They need more Anderson's, not more Grichuk's. It's one of the reasons why I have no issues with Stroman and wouldn't mind him extended. If Stro were in the NBA or NFL, and was as good in those sports as he is in baseball, then he'd be a mainstream star. His personality works today, even if it annoys some. He just happens to play a sport that wants its players to hold back their personality and isn't as mainstream.

I have to watch "play the game the right way" as one of the team's vetrin's for the next 5 years? Ugh. Whatever. Hopefully Vlad's personality takes over.
