Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 Pillar is hitting 3rd today. And he just jacked one.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 And he just jacked one. ...... but .205 avg VS .195 obp
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 I'm actually really impressed he remembered to run to first base instead of the dugout after he hit the ball Bust a gut, lol.
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 The Reds have a ford ad on their batting helmets. Is it just me or is this new?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 Kevin Pillar has four homers in 6 games. His wRC+ on the season is up to 29, his OBP is almost ten points lower than his batting average. Pretty impressive really.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Mike Trout is leading baseball in wRC+ and it's not actually close.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Mike Trout is leading baseball in wRC+ and it's not actually close. Meh, this early in the season the difference is probably one bad night.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Meh, this early in the season the difference is probably one bad night. I know, but it's fun to point out.
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 The Reds have a ford ad on their batting helmets. Is it just me or is this new? Actually? That’s gross. Love the idea of milking every last advertising dollar you can, while simultaneously paying your minor league players f*** all
tbad Verified Member Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Donaldson starting to get locked in. NL East is crazy town. Also, NL so much better than AL this year.
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Actually? That’s gross. Love the idea of milking every last advertising dollar you can, while simultaneously paying your minor league players f*** all  It is time to fire Manfred.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 It is time to fire Manfred. Take the money from the helmet advertising and split it evenly among everyone who plays in the minors, based on roster games.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019  It is time to fire Manfred. Ewwwwwwwww... I concur.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019  It is time to fire Manfred. you f***ing people should try and work in sport and secure sponsorship dollars.

EastCoaster Verified Member Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Actually I don't have the answers and instead of making some wild ass guess and spewing the nonsense in my head around the internet - I just wait and listen for more information. The concept must be foreign to you guys out east. I'm sure the Red Sox are going to openly advertise that there could be underlying problem with Sale before exploring every option available.  Don't about us down east we had things figured out long before you guys. We are ahead of you in time we live in houses that you guys can't afford and only dream about on large properties with double car garages and double paved driveways. We have plenty of ocean front properties and own our cottages have access to some of the best seafood available in the world. Our jobs are not monotonous factory jobs doesn't require any skills on an assembly line.

It’s an awful look, next thing we know they’ll be monetizing the space in the outfield grass for more $$$.

Laika Community Moderator Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 This deep aversion to ads on baseball uniforms is f***ing insane. People in America really get upset that their brand has another brand on it? f*** off

It does not dissuade anyone from purchasing them.
