You seem like you have a keen eye for the game. You should apply to the Jays. You might be a super scout for the organization. It seems odd that you would talk about bat speed and then show a clip of tellez striking out on an off speed pitch, but you are clearly a very knowledgeable guy, so who am I to question that logic. Thanks for your input Yoda.

Is your argument that Rowdy doesn’t have the bat speed to hit 85 mph then?

Bro u need to learn to read and not troll 100% of my posts for eternity. I am still semi optimistic on Tellez, but he has his holes like most of 23 year old AAA hitters.

He has good discipline in the minors, but swings like that pic indicate he will get chewed up alive via L/L sliders.

From what I've seen of him he seems to enjoy hitting upper fastballs, and hunting breaking-balls, but I don't know what teh book is to get him out quite yet.

It was an 85 mph slider. Get your head out of your ass. You don't say a guy lacks bat speed and then show him whiffing on an 85 mile per hour pitch. You show him being blown away by a fastball ffs.

Bro u need to learn that 85 mph is a Juco fastball, not a major league one. I’m not trolling you at all, just calling a spade a spade. That is not a fastball by any definition and you used it in an attempt to illustrate Rowdy’s lack of bat speed. SJF made the same point and you doubled down on it. I’m not wrong here.

I don’t think Tellez is very good. There’s like a 5% chance he’s a useful ML piece. I agree with you there.

Either you're trolling, in which case, just stop.

OR...

You honestly don't know that it was a slider, in which case, just leave.

To the surprise of absolutely nobody, Stroman has been named Opening Day starter.

Only surprised they named him prior to his start... I thought Carlos was going to wait until after he pitched today.. Probably just to stop him from bitching..

Spanky!!!!!!!!!!!! Let's get smashed!!!!!

$5 beer to be offered during Blue Jays games this season

https://www.thescore.com/s/9572377

While that's awesome news...

a) the lineup for that ONE booth will be 4 hours long

B) it will, undoubtedly, be Coors Light, which is beer in the same way that I am king of Norway.

Not a Coors fan... However, if you talk that way about Miller Lite, we will be having a Royal Battle!

Anthony Alford, OF, Blue Jays

Scout’s Take: "He looks insanely good. I know he’s had health issues, but to me the issue with him has always been balancing his approach and the fact that he does draw walks with some aggressiveness. He has just not missed pitches in the strike zone this spring, and he’s hit them a long way. He hit three home runs the last couple of days. It feels like each one is farther than the next one. The thing is I don’t know where he fits for them. I’m not sure what kind of trades the Blue Jays are talking about making or what their plans are, but if I were Teoscar Hernandez, I’d be worried. Because Teoscar Hernandez is similar tools, but he’s getting a little bit more expensive and he’s just a lesser defender . . . All of their veteran outfielders, (Randal) Grichuk, (Kevin) Pillar, they should be wary because Anthony Alford just looks better than all of them.”

It would be awesome to have AA breakout this year. Although I’m not sure Grichuk needs to worry about his spot in the OF

As much as I have been an advocate of the Young Guns, Alford and supported some of your baseball positions.... Some scouts report based on ST performance is not a vindication of anything..
