I'm pretty convinced that no matter who does the broadcasting, people will be complaining about them after a year or two. Some people just like to complain. That said, they do need to lay off with the old school stuff.

Yeah, you nailed it. I just like to complain. Tabby is awesome

Buck is not "fine" he straight out gives misinformation now. The stories are old and repetitive. We need a hispanic on the mic.

Hazel Mae and Kevin Barker are a package so that should be the first duo to break up

I want Barker gone before either

I saw Barker and Hazel Mae walking into the Wal Mart near Sherway last Sunday morning. Barker looked stressed haha

Please air your grievances here.

There will however, be no feats of strength.

They both need to be beaten with an aluminum pole.

Was watching the WS feed last nite with Vasgursian / Buck. It really is true that less is more with buck. He’s not horrible as a colour man, but would he take a demotion to a new broadcaster? Doubtful.

Never having to hear "get up ball, get up, get up!" ever again would be amazing, but don't get your hopes up.

What would your home run call be? I think mine would be a subtle sad movie quote so that Jays fans get hit with a massive wave of subliminal emotion on every home run.

“Go on, Buddy, you’re free now. Go on, Buddy! Get! You have to go, Buddy. Please, Buddy, go. get! Goooo! Get out of here! Don’t you understand?! Get! I don’t want you anymore! Get!”

I'd go with something out of the blue. Like Ray Romano's Chet Walker. Not Sweet Sassy Molassy...but something as meaningless.

Mike Shannon of the Cards started it and will continue with it.

They should fire Buck and Pat and hire Barry Davis and Gregg Zaun to replace them.

Finally. A broadcast for real men. I say they install stripper poles and have strippers working behind the manalyst when he's speaking too.

Is there a like button if you are on your cell? I can only see it on my laptop. 👍👍👍👍👍 Five thumbs up on your idea.

It'd be a baseball broadcast version of the Odd Couple. The polite and lovable goof in Barry Davis constantly cringing on air and apologizing for the crass Zaun.

Barker and Tabby are f***ing annoying. Barker babbling on and Tabby endless empty platitudes and comments "that kid looks like a ballplayer" and "he can hurt you if he gets ahold of one" when a hitter like Ben Revere is up.

I can live with Drunk Buck mostly cause its funny when he cranks up the "swing and a drive"...and the ball settles down in a glove in front of the warning track.

I find it funny that most MLB teams are turning to younger leadership teams that implement and embrace new analysis and technologies....yet those same teams don't turn to younger broadcasters that are able to keep up with the ever changing game of baseball. Broadcasters that could educate the viewers in a captivating manner as to why some teams are using "openers" or why they don't bunt much anymore or why average starting pitchers are pulled after 6 inning even while tossing a shutout.

Instead of having fans question the moves of teams - educate them so they understand.

Most fans would prefer to hear stories from the good old days.

I suspect you're right (as bizarre as that seems to me). I wonder why that is? Every time I hear Buck tell a story about the old days, it just sounds like an attempt to prove new age strategies wrong. Instead of embracing change, the old broadcasters sounds bitter that the game has changed and tell you about how it used to be in a tone that suggests it used to be "better" in the old days.

"Back in the old days, before there were shifts, that ground ball would have been an out."

"Imagine how good Sandy Koufax would have been if he had spin rates and all the advanced metrics on these batters? Yeah, but Sandy didn't need all that stuff. He relied on reading the batters and how they were reacting to his pitches. He as the best."

"Back in the old days, a starting pitcher didn't have a good bullpen to rely on. They had to navigate through the order 3, sometimes 4 times. It took a lot more skill. Those guys were savy back in the day. They used to setup the batter in the first so they could get him out in the 8th."

Who the f*** wants to listen to that s***? Seriously. All it does is put a negative spin on how baseball has evolved. It's terrible for the sport IMO.
