If we're going to keep Teoscar next year then they are going to have to move Morales. He's just not acceptable in the field

If Hernandez is a DH only, then I'd probably try to trade him instead of put him at DH. Unless he's the next Khris Davis, the chances of him becoming a regular is low. A little bit of D combined with an above league average bat would have helped, but if he can't play a lick of D, then he has an uphill battle.

NICE! The A's OWE us, they are losing badly again... If this series showed us anything it is they should play the line ups that will be in there next year and the future and stop wasting time with the Solarte's, Clippards, Barnes of the world.. I really hope Travis is not in the mix next year either..

 

Our catching future also looks very bright!

Doubt it, he's a coveted commodity, next July could be different.

He's probably more of a guy that's moved at the deadline next year... Though, if there's a good offer on the table, there's no reason not to trade him... Odds that we need a shut-down closer next season are, sadly, not great...

If the offers are good, then maybe, but he is controllable through 2020, so waiting until next July won't be a bad idea either.
