Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 Teoscar can handle velocity. This seems like an idiotic move to me.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 Steal second on the first pitch here..
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 That's how Gibbons uses his pen for some reason. Everyone has an assigned inning/role. It wouldn't be a big deal if Osuna was still out there, but taking Oh out after 6 pitches to bring in Clippard just for assigned role purposes is stupid as hell. It's 2018, managers should be able to get creative, but Gibbons is old school like that. I like the defined role of your best reliever facing the toughest part of the lineup. I would hope if were facing 2,3,4 Osuna would be pitching the 8th in 2018.

Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 St. Louis up 18-5 over the Cubs? Damn...
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 St. Louis up 18-5 over the Cubs? Damn... Matt Carpenter went beast mode. 5-5 3 homeruns, 2 Doubles, 4 runs scored, and 7 RBI by the 6th inning. And they took him out in the 6th.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 Nice pitching, Axford. Hope we don't have to go too long, 'cause... who's left? Beeg?
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 Nice pitching, Axford. Hope we don't have to go too long, 'cause... who's left? Beeg? Not even sure if he is. He's been up at least 3 times tonight warming up. Jaime Garcia I guess?
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 Tim Beckham should probably just quit.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 The Jays wanted to show how bad they were, and the Orioles said "not so fast".
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2018 Author Posted July 21, 2018 The O's out-badded us. ....and we'll take it. http://i.imgur.com/YW5cUOU.gif
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2018 Author Posted July 21, 2018 Napoleon on the bump today....
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 Today is the first Jays game I’ve been able to watch live since before the World Cup started. I’ll never tire of watching us beat the Orioles!
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 Nice play by Teo... Stroman getting hit around. Wow... nice turn Birds.
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 It’s not at all surprising, but it’s still pretty depressing to see a virtually empty stadium. Any hope at all of competing ruined by injuries for the second year in a row will do that to attendances!
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 Joe West are you f***ing serious. What a f***ing ****. We are trying to get Teo to take pitches. He lays off those s***** pitches and calls them strikes!
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 That's 3 runs this inning Tabby, ya big dummy.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 Man Teoscar has some easy monster power. He seemed off balance on a pitch low and away and he drove it 395 feet to RF-CF.
ColdPint Verified Member Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 I don’t often listen the the radio broadcasts - who’s doing commentary with Wilner today? Amateurish to say the least.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 I don’t often listen the the radio broadcasts - who’s doing commentary with Wilner today? Amateurish to say the least. Ben Wagner, I'd assume.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 Grichuk is so good. When he's healthy / offseason we really need to look at trading Pillar while he still has defensive value. As soon as that declines, he's probably done. Let Grichuk take over CF next year.
JonMc Verified Member Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 Nice game. We saw 7 innings out of Sro, Grichuk have a good time in CF and we didn't have heart attacks in the 9th. In an uncertain world it's always nice to beat up on the Os. I don't care how bad they are.
