I'd like a running tally. I'm also open to rotating hosts, and I think that might be preferable for a lot of people.

 

So, the podcast as of right now would be weekly, approximately 1 hour per session. I may need editors (John_Havok and Bendera thanks for your interest). I'll also take those tips on a good, affordable microphone.

 

You'll obviously need a way to record your beautiful voice in a way that doesn't sound like absolute crap.

 

DP messaged me about ways to monetize the podcast since he's a hungry capitalist shark so that's a thing that may happen in the future.

 

 

Ok, so, indicate here if you're interested in being a permanent host or a rotating host. Don't worry if you think you suck, we probably all do. There might be some growing pains. You can also indicate if you're interested in helping in a different way, editing, cleaning the sound, doing writeups, etc. Mind you, all of this work is going to be pro-bono, at least for now.

I've always thought a simulcast with the games would be a good idea. Just let people mute their TV and listen to actual decent commentary. Could do it through Twitch or something and pull up Fangraphs etc. during the games for viewers.

Seriously though, you're probably the most ideal person for the job. Pendleton4life19 will even work pro bono on the DDL draft prep for you to free up time/commitments.

Just my opinion, but I think the weekly podcast should be in conjunction with a live Jays game. It naturally provides more content and will help fill periodic silent spots.

I'm pretty sure a simulcast commentary would certainly be something you would need written consent from the Jays to do

Yes, I'd assemble the talking points and whatnot. You guys can chip in if you want but I honestly just want people to talk. If you and Laika are on board I can have a 4 man panel with me, you two dolts and P2F. I think that would be pretty good. And, like you said, if my talking points suck just try to piss me off, I've been told I'm funny when I'm mad.
