I just realized it wasn't his gf he beat it was her best friend. I won't edit my statement but it does change things slightly. I did the same thing that many do...I reacted without reading. My bad.

 

Yeah it's one of those tough ones to come back from even if not true, which is the part that sucks. But I won't be surprised if it is true.

This is an extremely common case in Canada. Hes not going to jail if hes convicted. He will get community service and anger management at best. Possibly house arrest but people are allowed to work under house arrest. His job is playing Baseball so he would continue to do that. Whatever happens between now and than will not delay his return. The only thing that would do that is if he does something else stupid or gets hurt.

Isn't there a video of him attacking her? Hard to believe he's innocent, you don't accept a 75 game suspension and forfeit almost 2.5 Million if you didn't do anything.

 

Chapman got 50 games without even getting arrested. Manfred is a crusader of justice, doesn't really seem to matter to him whether you're innocent or not. I guess the policy in place has enough vague language to allow him to do whatever he wants.

I don't know why but I can never get Sportsnet Videos to work for me on my desktop. Always have to watch them on my phone.

it says its HTML5 video if you right click on it, so not a flash issue. I would guess there's something f***y with the browser, either try a different one or try a clean reinstall of the browser would be the first thing i would try

Yea definitely appears to work on different browsers. I just have all my s*** set up on chrome.

I don't really care about butt hurt Liberal fans reaction to his return. I hope they all buy tickets just to boo him if they want. You don't sell talent for pennies on the dollar and ever hope to be successful. Even if the plan is to ultimately get rid of Osuna. He must pitch here to reestablish all his value before making that move. Watching him dominate for another team knowing we got next to nothing would be very hard for me to stomach personally.

Trade him this time next year (unless the SJWs force him out earlier). If he's not guilty or settles out of it, then no one will remember this a year from now. Hold on to him and let him recoup his value.

Dean Blundell leaked that story... he used to be good on a morning show with CFNY The Edge, then he sucked Jay held the show for awhile, he caught a morning gig at 590 was fired from them again... and now holds his own on-line s***. I called it then BS... I hope he gets sued/fired again if it doesn't come up. I met him at an event many years back, seemed pretty cool. Ah well...
