Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2018 Author Posted May 4, 2018 That is a great play. Diaz really hasn't looked bad at all at short.
jaysguy44 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 Yes big names do get traded in their last year under contract, but usually only when the team is not in contention for a playoff spot. So... it's likely he gets traded if the Jays suck. It's very unlikely if they don't suck. If he were to get traded. Is it realistic to get a top 50 prospect for him? Not sure the value of legit prospects in ball

Edit: Assuming Crosby was in the last year of his contract, I don't follow that weird ice lacrosse.

Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 John Tavares would have been a more appropriate example. Honestly, I know that name barely... Last I remember really Crosby/Ovetchkin were 1/2... Like I said, don't follow that.

Donaldson was the second best player in baseball when we fleeced him from the A's for a bunch of nothing.

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 Nice start here DSJ! He’s gotta change that number though.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 DSJ, another player on the 40 man that is already better than Morales.
Smokinitup420 Verified Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 Anybody else hear all that hollering, annoying as f***
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 He’s gotta change that number though. Easy bruh, lol.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 Ramirez destroyed that pitch. The Biagini SP experiment doesn't look very good. I know we need Sp depth and all but this guy is a reliever.

glory Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 Just let Santos and Ramirez finish this game. Save the rest of the pen. That's why winning the first one was so huge.
jayslenged Verified Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 Don't we have a "decent" starters? Our starters always force bullpens to pitch early 5th or 6th.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 That was a lot of hard contact. We are lucky to be only down 2.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 Don't we have a "decent" starters? Our starters always force bullpens to pitch early 5th or 6th. Biagini isn’t a major league Starter. But yes outside of Happ the rotation has been awful so far. Should and probably will be better as the season goes on though.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 Santos can't throw a strike either. ..
