Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 Feel bad for Rowdy... must be tough man.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 Feel bad for Rowdy... must be tough man. I hope Grichuk stays healthy this year, he's going to be a vital piece.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 I hope Grichuk stays healthy this year, he's going to be a vital piece. No doubt, was a really nice grab. Hernandez/Alford and Grandy off to good starts to the spring, great depth. https://www.mlb.com/video/grichuks-stellar-catch/c-1878512483
Mikeleelop Verified Member Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 i hope Alford (or Pompey or TEoscar) is given the chance to be the starter in CF. Pillar just gives up way too much at the plate. Plus i think his defense (look at the metrics) is only average and we will see a decline as he ages

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 1, 2018 Posted March 1, 2018 I have a feeling these 3 guys will be the radio broadcast, not bad at all. Rob Fai/Mike Wilner play by play and Ben Wagner as colour.

SSS but from what I have listened to they might a little understated, perhaps some would say a little bit boring, but they don't say anything stupid.

They're Bison announcers I believe, at least Wagner is.

saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 Pillar is batting .875. This will clearly be his breakout season offensively.
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 Pillar is batting .875. This will clearly be his breakout season offensively. Haha, he just hit a homerun too. If only spring training counted for something!

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 I don't like hearing these guys keep saying Sanchez keeps looking at his fingertips, hope it's nothing.
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 I don't like hearing these guys keep saying Sanchez keeps looking at his fingertips, hope it's nothing. Impossible to tell whether it's because it's started to hurt, or it's just habit - either of which is plausible.

Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 Wilner says Sanchez is very happy with his outing and no mention of his finger
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 Though he also said none of the reporters specifically asked about blisters
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 Wilner says Sanchez is very happy with his outing and no mention of his finger Yeah, was just going to post this. The pitch got away as Martin went to a change when he started his delivery, makes sense.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 (edited) Jays hitting Duffey hard, even the Solarte out was roped. Martin goes yard for a 3 run bomb. 8-5 Jays! Wow step away for a minute and Barnes got Rekt! 8-8 Edited March 3, 2018 by Spanky99
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 Carrera is on! Must be a bit weird for him.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 Am I the only one who thinks there's a good chance that Sanchez pitches 180+ innings this year?
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2018 Author Posted March 3, 2018 Am I the only one who thinks Sanchez will probably actually pitch 180+ innings this year? Yes. I would advise highly against the Jays allowing him to pitch that many innings a season removed from only pitching 44 innings in total.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 Am I the only one who thinks Sanchez will probably actually pitch 180+ innings this year? No, I think he will too. I'm an ultra optimist.
