Guys, I need to know, honestly will the Jays DFA Morales soon? I am fixated on getting him off this f***ing roster. We have so many better options! And, it's not my money.

 

Possibly when (if) Tulo is back from the DL. Would be suprised if it happened before then, but you never know!

Nah, they need Urena as a MIF back-up. They just might cut bait on Morales, or send an OF back down if Grandy's good to go, unless they're waiting a day to put him on the DL, which makes sense.

My guess is Urena

 

It was Petricka. Presumedly another move to come for Smoak. Assuming Granderson isn't retro-acted to the dl, it's probably Urena this time but a Morales DFA feels inevitable right now. Hernandez and/or Pearce would make better full time DHs and Donaldson could use starts there too. When Granderson feels better, Alford probably gets swapped for a pitcher and the real interesting decision should be when Pearce comes back.

I hope Morales might by DFA when Smoak gets back, but he might get DFA when Tulo finally gets back. I hope it's sooner than later.

They're also a 10-20 month away from trading all the guys in their walk years

 

So naturally they'll go like 16-14 and leave the FO in that difficult spot
