Matt Harvey DFAed. A huge fall for the former ace of the Mets--nearly Ricky Romero-esque:

You seem to have a personal Vendetta against AA.

I dislike him a lot. Dislike is personal I suppose. It's not like I wish him personal harm. I wish him professional harm.

Unbelievable

He was going to be a cornerstone of that team for a decade

Now he's refusing a minor league assignment. Damn

Now he'll get traded for cash or a B prospect

I'd rather him start than Garcia

He probably should have taken up Adam Ottavino on his offer to train with him in the offseason...

it will be a great challenge of great core, youth in the system, and a new stadium (well 2 years old) vs. Dumb management.

It's too bad Shapiro burned that bridge.

Isn't he a party animal? Probably heavy into the drugs and whores.

I like Glen Kuiper but Dallas Braden is one of the most obnoxious broadcasters I've ever heard. The guy is a cliche machine and seems to be constantly trying to invent a new catchphrase.

Oh wow, he dresses like a massive hipster douchebag. Nice beard, though.

He's in the booth now, what happened to Fosse? Also, I'm still legit confused what you meant earlier about silent treatment, that went and still is over my head?

Gleyber Torres hit his first major league home run today and he went back to the dugout where he was given the silent treatment. It's just so overdone and predictable now because literally everyone does it. I guess ballplayers aren't very creative.

Faaaack... Angels win again.:( They move into a tie for 1st in the West.

GAIZ DA AINGULZ SUKZ............

Despite being very early, their series vs the Mariners is a big one for the wildcard implications.

Angels take game 1 behind the on fire Trout, Ohtani and Simmons. Skaggs and Ohtani are due to pitch the other 2 games.

Yup, and concerning the standings, I wouldn't mind seeing Seattle take the next 2, Jays need to get their act together as well.

Man, Eugenio Suarez going full Joey Votto has been an unexpected development.

So the solution is just simply a little bit of pine tar or similar but not enough to be overly blatant like Pineda?

But every other mlb has decided instead of taking this short cut (that’s hardly ever enforced) to having a dominant pitching staff, they are taking the high road and not joining the party?

Is this a fair summary of your hypothesis?

Damn Connorp ... that was a beauty !
