Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Big time grand salami for Josh Reddick against the O's. Just like that it's a 10-5 Houston lead.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Lol Orioles. What a terrible sequence of pitches.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 F*** the O's. Hopefully they keep losing so that Machado gets traded out of that dumpster fire of an organization that should've traded him this past offseason when the organization is a mess and needs a LOT of help.. but Duquette doesn't seem to agree. Even though it's early, I can't see Duquette and/or Showalter making it to the All-Star Break.. This is just going to make the coming rebuild even more painful for O's fans.. FYI, Chris Davis--0-5, 4Ks. Not leadoff material..
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Ohtani with the 3 run tater. ....and the silent treatment. Good stuff.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Anyone recognize the guy in the middle? https://www.mlb.com/video/wilson-on-throwing-first-pitch/c-1904847183
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Talking about low attendances, 1st pitch at Petco Park: Who wants to watch terrible baseball this early for a team that is likely to lose 100+ in the Padres? Already 0-4 and not showing improvement.. and desperately needing somebody who can pitch.

Get only a pick for Machado.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Dominic Leone gives up a game tying bomb to Yelich and a walk off home run to Braun on the next pitch. Ouch.

jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Hamels turning back the clock tonight with 11 Ks through 5 IP. Whoa. So how many times did you try and get him from Gibbers this off season? I think for me it was like 3.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2018 Author Posted April 4, 2018 So how many times did you try and get him from Gibbers this off season? I think for me it was like 3. I'm pretty sure it was just once, but I thought about it a bunch. Apparently, just thinking about it doesn't put him on the Mets though.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Hamels turning back the clock tonight with 11 Ks through 5 IP. Whoa. Hes going to be a hot commodity at the Trade Deadline. If the Phillies are remotely competitive they will probably try anything to get him back.
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Villanueva has hit 3 homers for the Padres today.

Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Haha that was awesome! First home at bat too! I'm gonna love following his performance this year. 3 for 4 today with the home run:

John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 (edited) 3 for 4 today with the home run: Total silent treatment, I always find that amusing Edited April 4, 2018 by John_Havok
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Total silent treatmentioned, I always find that amusing He wasn't aware of that tradition at first, lol. By Maria Guardado MLB.com @mi_guardado ANAHEIM -- All around him, the fans roared. But in the dugout, he found silence. Tradition cedes to no one, not even a 23-year-old rookie sensation. And so, Shohei Ohtani was received with indifference from his Angels teammates after crushing his first career home run in his first at-bat at Angel Stadium during a 13-2 win over the Indians on Tuesday night. "I didn't really know about this whole tradition, but I kind of figured it out once I came back to the dugout," Ohtani said through an interpreter. "Everyone was giving me the silent treatment." Ignored by his teammates, Ohtani congratulated himself by high-fiving a line of invisible people. After he went over to hug Ian Kinsler, the ruse finally broke. Ohtani was soon engulfed in a collective embrace from the Angels, who advised the prodigious slugger to take a curtain call. He obliged, climbing the dugout steps and raising his helmet to 35,007 frenzied fans.
