F*** the O's. Hopefully they keep losing so that Machado gets traded out of that dumpster fire of an organization that should've traded him this past offseason when the organization is a mess and needs a LOT of help.. but Duquette doesn't seem to agree. Even though it's early, I can't see Duquette and/or Showalter making it to the All-Star Break..

 

This is just going to make the coming rebuild even more painful for O's fans..

 

FYI, Chris Davis--0-5, 4Ks. Not leadoff material..

Who wants to watch terrible baseball this early for a team that is likely to lose 100+ in the Padres? Already 0-4 and not showing improvement.. and desperately needing somebody who can pitch.

I'd rather they stay close enough to .500 (beating up on the Yankees and Sox while getting swept by us) until after the trade deadline. Get only a pick for Machado.

Buck has clearly had enough and is deliberately trying to get fired. He had Davis in the lead off spot and he went 0 for 5 with 4 strikeouts!

So how many times did you try and get him from Gibbers this off season?

 

I think for me it was like 3.

I'm pretty sure it was just once, but I thought about it a bunch. Apparently, just thinking about it doesn't put him on the Mets though.

Hes going to be a hot commodity at the Trade Deadline. If the Phillies are remotely competitive they will probably try anything to get him back.

My taped and watched game of the day was STL at Brewers, first game in MLB history starting and ending with back to back home runs. Braun with the walk off.

"I didn't really know about this whole tradition, but I kind of figured it out once I came back to the dugout," Ohtani said through an interpreter. "Everyone was giving me the silent treatment."

 

Ignored by his teammates, Ohtani congratulated himself by high-fiving a line of invisible people. After he went over to hug Ian Kinsler, the ruse finally broke. Ohtani was soon engulfed in a collective embrace from the Angels, who advised the prodigious slugger to take a curtain call. He obliged, climbing the dugout steps and raising his helmet to 35,007 frenzied fans.
