Mets Line-up

1. Brandon Nimmo (L) CF

2. Yoenis Cespedes ® LF

3. Jay Bruce (L) RF

4. Asdrubal Cabrera (S) 2B

5. Todd Frazier ® 3B

6. Adrian Gonzalez (L) 1B

7. Kevin Plawecki ® C

8. Noah Syndergaard (L) P

9. Amed Rosario ® SS

s*** Asdrubal Cabrera is batting cleanup? With his multi-positional ability I wonder if he's worth picking up in a 14 teamer.

I haven't been paying much attention to NL lineups..... but since when were pitchers anywhere other than 9th? I know its Thor, but still

Since Tony LaRussa was managing the Cardinals.

It's pretty common these days to see a pitcher hitting 8th in the NL, they do it so the 9 hitter has a least some chance to turn the lineup over with a man on base as opposed to the guaranteed out. Sort of like a poor man's leadoff hitter if you will.

Former Jays catcher Raffy Lopez made the Padres. Why?

.320 avg, 4hr and 1.249 ops for the spring is why i suppose.

Who knew?

Rasmus made the roster for the O's and is gonna start in RF on opening day. Could be a pretty sharp move by Baltimore. Rasmus looked great with the Rays last year before going awol. It'll be interesting to see how he fares.

As much as he's an odd dude, I've got a soft spot for Rasmus and I hope he does well (but not against the Jays...)

Ohtani DH'ing for the Angels

Wow--the Angels are a circus of an org. to be giving Ohtani DH duties when he didn't exactly show anything at the plate this spring. Expect an 0-4 day..
