BTS Community Moderator Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 Out of curiosity, why would an Agent care if his client was an A-hole? I’ve never heard of this happening before. Makes me think Puig did something pretty bad.

vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 Puig dropped by his agency for bad behaviour. Probably a story about to drop. Ugh why is it taking so long to come out? I'm bored and want to know now.

TheHurl Site Manager Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 BBWAA votes are all up. sorry if already posted https://bbwaa.com/18-hof-ballots/
BTS Community Moderator Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 BBWAA votes are all up. sorry if already posted https://bbwaa.com/18-hof-ballots/ How the hell did so many people only use 3-4 votes given the back log of worthy inductees?
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 How the hell did so many people only use 3-4 votes given the back log of worthy inductees? So, hypothetically, the BBWAA could never allow the all time home run leader into the Hall of Fame while someone like Jim Rice has his own little plaque in there. Does that not just completely delegitimize the entire thing? Either they need to somehow take all of Bonds' achievements away or vote him into the Hall because this is getting really stupid. It's also incredible to me that an uninformed moron like Jeff Blair is one of the gatekeepers for the highest individual honor in the sport. A LOT of these "writers" pretty clearly have no knowledge of the sport and a lot of them use their f***ing vote as a way to get attention, like that ancient f***wad Murray Chass.

Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 Sportsnet just reporting EE for JBJ swap turned down by Boston. EE in Fenway would be something.

Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 Boston would be pretty dumb to accept that trade Yes they would need something extra coming back.

I can see ignoring value/salary/years of control and the aging curve to make your team better right now. But it just wouldn't even be close for Boston. Cleveland's OF is pretty below average for a contender and really no depth either. It's a shame their division is so s***, they can take their time to improve the OF...or else they would be a prime team to complete a OF for Pitcher deal
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 This whole thing is pretty fascinating
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 This is f***ing stupid. Embarrassing. It's economics and a business boys. Put on your big boy pants you entitled f***wads.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 Does that mean the union blames Boras for some of this offseason, or Boras blames the union for a bad deal?

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 Bo-R-Ass says his clients will be practicing at his facilities. So J.D. Martinez gets to face Jake Arrietta 800 times in spring training? I'd pay 5 bucks to watch that
glory Old-Timey Member Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 Wish the Jays traded Sanchez last year the moment he hired that douche to be his agent.
