Honestly as much as I want the Jays to make the playoffs again, nothing in their performance says they are any good. Run differential sucks, positive record in 1 run games so they got a bit of luck on their side, and they still aren't very good. If they are far enough away from the WC race by the end of July to punt the rest of the season, I'd take that over being 3-4 games back behind 6 teams.

I really hope they sell at the deadline, Estada and Liriano should at least bring back a decent return. I still think we could retool and be competitive next season.

Seems to be a trait of teams managed by Gibbons. He never seems to have his team ready out of spring training. Only this year their start was so bad they almost have no chance to get back in the race
