So, Devon Travis is out for the year. It appears we're getting close to realizing that it's probable he's not a long term solution.

Its really frustrating because he's a great player with a great attitude... I want him to be my favorite blue jay but it's really hard when he's injured all the time.

Hopefully we can pick up another quality infielder next season to cover 2B/SS/3B when Travis/Tulo/JD are injured.

Sanchez looks like he could join Travis in that category also.OUCH!

Toronto has yet to place a formal timeline on Travis’ absence, though the 26-year-old acknowledged last week that the new bone bruise and cartilage damage suffered in the same right knee that he suffered in the offseason would keep him out for an extended period. Travis expressed frustration to Sportsnet’s Shi Davidi at the time, explaining that there’s no one incident to which he can tie the injury, which he initially felt after a lengthy flight from Toronto to Oakland.

I sent you an offer in the LOD which i don't think you will accept but i think we match up in a pitcher for a bat deal. Take a look at my roster!

Writing is pretty much on the wall. He had surgery and when he had surgery in the offseason he was out for 4-5 months.

I read that last years surgery was more serious.

Best case is that if the Jays are still in contention, he could possibly be back in September.

I read he could resume baseball activities in about 6 weeks, best case scenario.

Man, I'm just not used to having TV. I'm on vacation this week up at my folks' cottage... I'm trying to get their s***** internet to work so I can steam the game and after 20 minutes I realize "oh right, they have TV here so I can just turn THAT on..."

Warhol will be the Jays 2B solution going forward... Hopefully. I've had enough of Mr. Glass

He's the Buck Pierce of MLB.

Rasmus has been great for the Rays this season so far... sitting at 130 wrc+

That's because he's a platoon bat to his strength.
