You are right in that these soft tissue injuries can linger but the fact that he's been out so long, I think he'll be okay the rest of the way.

The way this season has gone injury/luck wise nothing would surprise me at this point. Fingers crossed that the worst has passed though.

IIRC Tulo was pretty much gone after his slide into third in LA. I think JD came back after a few days like you said, hit a double and was dying by the time he was reaching second.
