Nice to come back to a Jays win after a real s***** trip. Buried my grandfather today, so at least this was a nice little consolation.

In fairness, late-2016 Jose looked like a broken man who could barely run the bases. My suggestion was that he could probably market himself as a corner-utility player: 1B, 3B, LF, RF. With his bat declining, even being simply an above average power hitter seems pretty valuable if you can stick him into five different spots in the lineup (including DH), which is pretty uncommon for 37-yos who are treading through the end of the careers on Old Man Skills alone.

He looks fairly refreshed early this season, though. I definitely did not suggest 2B.

EDIT: You beat me to it.

I remember this now. My concern was his arm, I didn't think it would bounce back like it has. But my bad, it wasn't a bad suggestion with him regaining arm strength. I shouldn't have been such a dick about it.

And I will never forget Boxcar's betrayal.

I like how wok thinks he is talking to Terminator this whole time.

hahahahahaha I didn't even catch that

Somehow Boxcar has found a way to actually manage the BJMB search function which I always assumed was powered by a shirtless Hurl riding an exercise bike whenever he actually felt like it. None of us are safe.

That's terrible, my condolences

I've noticed a lot of people complain about how bad it is, but it's actually very simple. Once you've gone to advanced search, the first thing you want to do is click the tab that says "search single content type." From there you can obviously input whatever you want to find into "keywords" though it won't search words that are three letters or less. Then you can add in a username if you're looking for something from a particular person. After that, scroll to the bottom where it says "show results as" and change it from threads to posts.

Edit: Ugh, I feel like this sounds so condescending and that was not my intention.

Way to talk down to the forum, *******.

Ugh, this would be incredibly annoying if ublock didn't exist.

Well, people need to stop telling me to change my avatar every time it's slightly similar to someone else's

Nothing suggests that Bautista can't play an average 3rd Base. They probably should have went to him sooner but choose to plug in Coghlan everyday until he became unplayable.

Oh well Donaldson is back. We know now for sure Bautista can take over at Third in an emergency situation without much problems.

I'm frankly a little bit surprised that Bautista as a pinch-3B has never been tried before. Seems short-sighted, although yesterday could very easily be an aberration. He could still be a terrible infielder who just got some decent opportunities to look good.

I know, I'll try to be a little less rude going forward.

Very sorry to hear man, I hope he had a fulfilled life!

I've lost both my grandfathers. One I didn't know too well, I was only 8 years old when he past but the other I was very close to and being an usher was one of the hardest things I've had to do. (He lived around the corner from me). It's been a few years but I still think about him almost everyday. Parkinson's didn't stop him from coming to all my ball games and my cousin's as well. He was also the smartest man I ever knew.

Sounds like your grandfather was an awesome guy Gov.

Mine had a pretty good life though, funeral count was over 400. Don't think anyone had a bad word to say about the guy, was one of the nicest people you'd ever meet.

No problem I didn't see it as condescending as all and I appreciate the tips.
