    Come on, you can hate someone of a different race based of personality traits and it not be racist. I find Stroman is a cocky, me first person that cares about his own success more then he should. I know all players number one goal is their own success, but their something about how Stro is always trying to sell himself that rubs me the wrong way. I hope he wins every game he starts, but I refuse to buy into what is trying to do off the field.

    I think people are right that side armers have less shoulder issues, but when you been pitching a certain way for 15 years and then decide to change your arm slot completely, that’s when injuries COULD happen.

    When asked about docs kid, stro adds that he is a big supporter of HDMH and gave him some hats.....why does he have to make everything about him in some way. He should of said the nice things and left out that the kid is a big fan of him

    Who cares if a pitcher isn’t ready for opening day as long as they make a scheduled start and don’t have to “call someone up”

    Slide arm might be better on your shoulder from day one, but when your muscles are use to a certain repetitive motion, and then you switch it completely, that’s when injuries occur.

    I hope they start Joe in Buffalo and see if the set up role figures it self out before moving him back to the pen. But at the same time you don’t wanna mess with a guy to much and wreck him like NYY did with Joba.

    Wtf just watched 42 sec of the video. I don’t like hating players on my fav teams (esp ones that contribute positively) but this guy just knows how to grind my gear. As a hip hop fan, I thought it was cool when Rudy Gay made a camo in 5am in Toronto music video, and I’ve seen DD in a couple Compton rappers videos, but this type of video crosses the line like no other lol

    It’s hard to get behind our ACE as it feels like Stroman isn’t committed to our city, as much as he is to his own brand. I know he does a lot of lip service that he loves the 6, but I’m assuming I’m not alone when I say it seems like fake love. Everything is always so personal with him. It seemed strange to me at he time, but I completely understand why Sanchez has isolated himself from Stroman on a personal level.

    The charity work your talking about I believe is through the big brother program. I believe I remember reading that he will show up to a big brother event and just hangout with the kids during most road trips. If so that’s pretty amazing.

    Every workout is a official workout once you report to spring training, esp when your at the Jays facility. It would be different if he was wearing a jays warm up jacket and maybe was wearing a eagles hat, or if he was wearing his duke hate because it was March madness already. I’m not saying that he is going to run town, but it does say something about the guy

    Looking at those pics and the first thing that bugs me is Stro wearing a Dukes hat. Put on a damn Jays hat like everyone else

    The only argument one can make for Batista, is the connection the kids have with him still. JD and EE were the better players, but Bats was the icon and is the reason many kids are playing minor baseball and wanted to go to the games. It’s going to be weird going to the games and not seeing kids dressed up with the Jose beards

    The heat just got turned right up on STL. If they do want to make a splash at 3B it’s JD or bust now, which is good news for us

    Yah I agree. I can see him trying to circle back to us because their is going to be nothing out there. But I don’t think we bite at all Bats does hold a special bond to the little kids and growing minor baseball in Canada. The only reason I don’t want this team to do a full rebuild is because of the impact the Joey Bats era has had on kids wanting to play baseball. If they can trade Morales (doubt it) then I wouldn’t mind having Jose back as a DH but not a everyday type of guy, mostly because of PR.

    I don’t think a buehrle would be able to get to stroman at this point. You need someone that Stro can relate too as a young successful African American who views culture the same way as him. Stro has that Melo state of mind, in which building his brand is just as important then his on field success. And even tho that can be viewed at as smart long term, most these players lose track of what their bread and butter is and their decline comes quicker and harder then it should. It was different when Stro was a rookie, but Stroman appears to feel privileged and cocky now. That’s why Price was such a huge influence on him in a good way. Price has that swag and loves to have fun but is very down to earth and respectable. I member reading a article on Archer and it went on about how he learned so much from Price and his legacy off the field that he still tries to follow years after Price left TB. It went on about has archer does big brother events even on the road and he creates Prices off field influences on it.

    I’m fine with Jays signing any one to a one year deal. A one year CarGo would be a nice low risk high reward retrade value wise

    I had high hopes for Lawrie and remember his first west coast trip and the hype it created. However we need to move on. He isn't a team player and isn't good enough to make up for it
