There's little question that he would have remained out in MLB. We have seen far less conclusive calls than that not overturned. Why do they have better replay technology than us?

Insert obligatory Asians/electronics joke here.

I was researching a guy to add to one of my fantasy teams and I saw something interesting...Aaron Altherr looks like a taller/skinnier version of Bautista

Lomo hit his 10th HR. Alonso has 11 & Smoak 21 RBIs. Someone go find Brett Wallace the 2010 1B prospects are finally hitting.

Ian Happ has been called up.

Just saw that in the lineup. Something's up with Zobrist, likely a bereavement leave or something?!?!

The speculation is it's temporary but you don't usually promote one of your top prospects just to fill in. I'm pretty excited about his arrival either way.

He's rated as number 2 in their farm..who's number 1?

For a bereavement leave, it wouldn't matter.

Hey anybody travel down to Phily recently to catch a game?

Looking for things to do after the game

I saw the Jays play in Philly about 15 years ago in the old stadium. I sat in the cheap seats behind the plate and was seriously afraid for my safety... philly fans are many levels below decent human beings...

So many levels above Boston fans is another way of putting it.

I've heard quite different, bro.

I've been there once with my family, never again. The history is great, but the ballpark is rundown. I can live with that. The people, however, are rude and obnoxious. They know nothing of baseball outside of their own city. Easily the least knowledgable fans in baseball, even with the basic rules of baseball.

Wrong. Fake News. People are great. I've been there at least 30 times, gone to 15 games, run several Boston Marathons, hit the city so many times. Was there the day of the terrorist attack in 2013.

I'm rambling a bit, but the point is I've been to Boston a lot, and experienced a lot there. This post is just so typical Grant, where Grant's one small experience there, which may have just been randomly bad for some reason, makes him a know-all expert on the subject.

Man I hate Boston as much as the next guy but it's almost like you got raped in the city or something. Your hate is ridiculous.

No kidding! 12 f***ing walks! It must be close to an MLB record for a starting pitcher...

Is this some kind of a joke? where did 12 walks come from?

It is a joke--MLB's page screwed up. It's only 3 walks. Sorry about that.. still, it was a bad start.

Weird one - the Nats buy out Harper's last year of arbitration (2018) for $21.6m.

Guess they were talking an extension but he is insisting he wants to hit free agency after the 2018 season?

That's too bad, as I've heard the people are the exact opposite, although a dump an adventure and nostalgia in itself takes a life of of it's own? As a ball game experience?

So there's a beat the streak guy that is currently on 51 games. Does he get the 5.6 millions or nah?

I'd expect he wins the dosh if anyone beats him(10 grand), if you're correct. He needs six more to get it... that's awesome. 5.6 million.

MLB Beat the streak has a new record holder and is 6 games away from $5.6M.

That Escobar pick was real head scratcher.
